C&F Financial Corporation Announces Increase in Quarterly Dividend

WEST POINT, Va., Nov. 28, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — The board of directors of C&F Financial Corporation (NASDAQ:CFFI) has declared a regular cash dividend of 37 cents per share, which is payable January 1, 2019 to shareholders of record on December 14, 2018. This dividend represents a 2.8 percent increase over the prior quarter’s dividend amount of 36 cents per share. This is the second increase in the Corporation’s regular cash dividend during 2018, resulting in a cumulative increase of 8.8 percent over the regular cash dividend of 34 cents per share that was paid on January 1, 2018.

The Board of Directors of the Corporation continually reviews the amount of cash dividends per share and the resulting dividend payout ratio in light of changes in economic conditions, current and future capital requirements, and expected future earnings. Based on this review, the board increased the Corporation’s fourth-quarter dividend.
