Jade Power Announces Formation of Special Committee to Conduct Strategic Review

TORONTO, May 15, 2020 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Jade Power Trust (“Jade Power” or the “Trust”) (TSXV:JPWR.UN) announces the formation of a special committee comprised of certain independent directors of the administrator of the Trust (the “Committee”) to explore strategic alternatives for the Trust which may include, but is not limited to a sale of all or a portion of the trust units of the Trust, a sale of all or a portion of the assets of the Trust, a strategic investment in the Trust or other alternatives to maximize value for its stakeholders.  The Committee will be working with the Trust’s financial advisor BAC IP EAD (BAC Securities) based out of Bulgaria to support the evaluation of all potential alternatives.
No decisions relating to any specific strategic alternatives relating to the Trust have been determined at this time.
