September 23, 2020The seven-year agreement between the two organizations will upgrade technology throughout the hospital and improve efficiencyAmsterdam, the Netherlands and Tampa, Florida, U.S. – Tampa General Hospital (TGH) and Royal Philips (NYSE: PHG, AEX: PHIA), a global leader in health technology, today announced they are creating a long-term strategic partnership designed to keep Tampa General Hospital at the forefront of technological innovation.Tampa General, one of the largest hospitals in the U.S., will have early and ongoing access to the latest Philips innovations during the seven-year arrangement. Philips is also working on a technology replacement plan which includes implementing cloud-based technologies such as Philips PerformanceBridge. This technology gives users a view to all their diagnostic equipment and ensures that TGH gets the latest in medical innovation in a cost-effective, timely way.
