Pending Acquisition of Chef Supports Long-Term Growth StrategyBEDFORD, Mass., Sept. 29, 2020 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Progress (NASDAQ: PRGS), the leading provider of application development and digital experience technologies, today announced financial results for its fiscal third quarter ended August 31, 2020, which are consistent with the preliminary results it announced on September 8, 2020.Third Quarter 2020 Highlights:Revenue of $109.7 million increased 3% year-over-year on an actual and constant currency basis.Non-GAAP revenue of $110.9 million decreased 4% on an actual and constant currency basis.Operating margin was 30% and Non-GAAP operating margin was 42%.Diluted earnings per share was $0.53 compared to $0.30 in the same quarter last year, an increase of 77%. The expected positive currency translation impact on Progress’ fiscal Q4 2020 business outlook compared to 2019 exchange rates on GAAP and non-GAAP revenue is approximately $1.0 million.
