ProntoForms Saves Pesado Energy Services $250K in 2015

OTTAWA, ON–(Marketwired – May 17, 2016) – ProntoForms Corporation (TSX VENTURE: PFM), a leading provider of mobile data collection and analytics platforms for enterprises and small to medium sized businesses, has released a new customer video success story highlighting how Mississippi-based pipeline construction company Pesado Energy Services has leveraged ProntoForms, powered by iOS, to significantly raise productivity — and save $250,000 in 2015 administration costs alone.

ProntoForms is a member of Apple’s Mobility Partner Program (MPP), an initiative to help Apple expand market share for iOS devices in business. As part of this program, ProntoForms collaborates with Apple to develop customer success stories that showcase the power of ProntoForms solution running on iOS.

Pesado used ProntoForms on iOS to mobilize a number of business processes, including its Job Number Request form, which is completed by a supervisor whenever the company takes on a new project. The form outlines the equipment needed for the job, the employees on the roster, the customer, the location, as well as estimated upfront and running costs. As soon as the form is submitted via ProntoForms solutions, all stakeholders involved in the project are automatically notified and can start to prepare immediately. The form also ensures that all team members are fully qualified and have the required certifications for their assigned tasks. The solution has all but eliminated a time-consuming manual process for booking and assigning equipment, staff, and materials needed for each job.

“ProntoForms has not only saved us over $250,000 in administration costs, but the mobile solution has also transformed the way we run our business,” said Jeff Peel, Chief Operating Officer at Pesado Energy.

Pesado uses an analytics engine to streamline multiple business processes and extract insights from collected data, including key performance indicators for their financial and operational teams.

“The mobile solution tracks costs in real time, gives us full visibility into each project, and helps us make better business decisions,” says Peel. “Having real-time access to relevant job data gives us the power to do our job better today, tomorrow, and down the road — and become a more profitable business.”

“In participating in Apple’s Mobility Partner Program, ProntoForms is able to gain exposure to a vast number of industries and businesses, allowing them to benefit from the cost savings and increased operational efficiency that ProntoForms solutions provide,” said Alvaro Pombo, ProntoForms Founder and CEO. “We are thrilled with the results Pesado has realized through the use of our services, and see this as further illustrating that our solution is industry agnostic and can benefit any organization that relies on paper forms.”
