Winning Trips include European Tour, Hawaiian Holiday and California Getaway
TORONTO, Oct. 22, 2015 /CNW/ — The old saying goes that a picture speaks a thousand words – but what makes a picture earn a thousand comments? With the ubiquity of shared images on social media, there’s now more to taking a photograph than just clicking a button or tapping a screen. With a collection of hotels and resorts that offer some of the world’s most jaw-dropping photo opps and unforgettable experiences, Four Seasons is sharing expert photography knowledge to help travellers capture travel memories to last a lifetime with the introduction of Focus on Four Seasons.
Now live on Four Seasons Magazine, Focus on Four Seasons offers inspiration with spectacular images captured at Four Seasons properties around the world by top photographers and Instagrammers, as well as educational tips on how to take the best photos using digital camera and smartphone technology.
“Photography is a compelling way to tell a story, with a single evocative image often saying more than words alone,” says Elizabeth Pizzinato, SVP, Marketing and Communications for Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts. “We love the visual stories our guests tell about Four Seasons through their photography, and with Focus on Four Seasons, we want to inspire travellers to keep snapping, and keep sharing their memorable experiences at Four Seasons destinations around the globe.”
From taking advantage of natural lighting to experimenting with focal length and shooting from unexpected angles, Four Seasons fans are invited to try these photography tips and share the results using the hashtag #FocusFS. The best images will be showcased on fourseasons.com/focusgallery.
“Focus on Four Seasons is an opportunity to harness the power of user-generated photography to showcase unique perspectives on established and emerging destinations, as well as the thrill of discovery that accompanies travel by globetrotters and new generations of travellers alike,” says Pizzinato.
