(the “Company” or “SustainCo”) (TSX VENTURE:SMS) announces that the Ontario Labour Relations Board (the “OLRB”) has ordered the certification of the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipefitting Industry of the United States and Canada, Local 787 (the “Union”), effective June 1, 2017, as the exclusive bargaining agent for the refrigeration and air-conditioning mechanics and apprentices employed by VCI Controls Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company, in Ontario.
The Company will be making adjustments to its business model to ensure continuity and continued profitability and growth.
