Anadolu Agency Launches its Albanian and Macedonian Broadcasting Center in Skopje

Anadolu Agency (AA) to launch its Albanian and Macedonian broadcasting center in the Macedonian capital Skopje today. Macedonian becomes Anadolu Agency’s tenth language service and several of its stories, photographs and videos are available to the public at http://www.aa.com.tr/mk

Anadolu Agency works nonstop to expand its global news network. The inclusion of the newservice brings the agency’s broadcasting languages to ten, including Turkish, English, Arabic, French, Bosnian/Croatian/Serbian (BCS), Russian, Kurdish, Albanian and Persian.

The Macedonian service (https://www.facebook.com/AAmacedonian), of which the beta version has been running for a while, has developed its technical infrastructure in order to supply news stories to media outlets in Macedonian speaking countries intheir mother language.

Anadolu Agency’s (@anadoluagency) Skopjebased Albanian-Macedonian News Desk (@aa_macedonian) will widely report on developments in the region and the world, with the aim of bringing a breath of fresh air to the Macedonian media landscape.

Anadolu Agency’s Skopje office officially opens

AA is opening its Scopje Office with an opening ceremony that will be honored by the presence of Mr. Yalçın Akdoğan,Turkey’s Deputy Prime Minister, Mr. Şenol Kazancı, AA’s Chairman of the Board and Director General, and  Mr. Metin Mutanoglu, AA’s EditorinChief and Deputy Director General.  A number of representatives from Skopje’s major media outlets, as well as Turkish and Macedonian bureaucrats to attend the official opening ceremony of the agency’s Skopje office today.

Macedonia, Albania, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Greece media outlets will now have the opportunity to follow developments in the region and all corners of the world, through the accurate and reliable stories published by the experienced team at the Skopjebased Albanian-Macedonian desk.

Anadolu Agency’s Macedonian Service will be fully available to its subscriber media outlets on the Agency’s “News Management System” interface while some of the service’s news stories, photographs and videos will be available to the public on the AA website, at http://www.aa.com.tr/mk.
