(“Athabasca” or the “Corporation”) (TSX VENTURE:ABM) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Dale Nolan to the Board of Directors. Mr. Nolan is a founding director of Athabasca Minerals Inc., and has been involved in the gravel, transportation and construction business for over 35 years.
Mr. Nolan is also president of the Hopkins Group of Companies (“Hopkins”), a Lacombe, Alberta based company that started in 1966. Hopkins develops gravel pits and performs custom crushing of aggregate. Hopkins has crushed for numerous counties and municipal districts throughout Alberta, and has provided services to Alberta Transportation for various road construction projects. Hopkins also supplies transportation services to deliver gravel and move oilfield equipment throughout Western Canada.
The Corporation also announces that Mr. Michael Peck has resigned from the Board of Directors. Athabasca thanks Mr. Peck for his commitment to the Corporation, and wishes him well in his future endeavours.
This appointment is effective immediately, and is subject to TSX Venture Exchange approval.
