Pursuant to the terms and conditions of its incentive stock option plan, Aveda has granted, in the aggregate, 825,000 incentive stock options (the “Options”) to purchase Common Shares of Aveda to certain executive officers and employees of the Company. The Options are exercisable for a five-year period at a price of $0.60 per share. One third of the Options will vest on each of the first, second and thirds anniversaries of the grant date.
Pursuant to the terms and conditions of its deferred share unit plan, Aveda also announces that 200,000 deferred share units (“DSU”) were approved for directors. The DSUs vest immediately and may only be redeemed within the period beginning on the date a holder ceases to be a director of Aveda and ending on December 31 of the following calendar year.
