Axios Adds New Contract in US Northeast

MISSISSAUGA, ON–(Marketwired – May 31, 2016) – Axios Mobile Assets Corp. (TSX VENTURE: AXA) (“Axios” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce that it has signed a service agreement with a new customer in the Northeast region of the United States. The contract calls for Axios pallets to be used for shipping eggs to two Distribution Centres (“DCs”) in the state of Pennsylvania, with Axios now transporting food products into 75% of its largest end retailer’s cold chain DCs. Training at the customer’s production facility is scheduled to begin next week.

The new contract increases the number of major egg producers using Axios pallets and logistics to nine, including four of the top five egg producers in the United States. Owing in part to strict sanitization of pallets following each use and the availability of industry leading track-and-trace technology to monitor shipment conditions, most of the pallets in the Axios fleet are currently utilized by producers of eggs and egg products.

“The North Atlantic region is strategically important for Axios and we are excited to begin work with one of its leading egg producers,” said Richard MacDonald, President and CEO of Axios. “Our objective remains to have Axios pallets in supply chains reaching at least 40 Distribution Centres nationwide by the end of 2016 and the addition of another two locations in Pennsylvania draws us closer to this goal.”
