CALGARY, Alberta, Dec. 03, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Alberta, December 3, 2018 – Badger Daylighting Ltd. (“Badger” or the “Company”) is announcing the following organizational changes:

Appointment of William Derwin to the Board of Directors
“We are pleased to welcome Bill as an independent director to Badger’s Board,” said Glen Roane, Chair of the Board. “Bill’s wide range of experience, particularly his experience in the United States and in fleet-based service businesses, will be a tremendous benefit to Badger. The addition of Bill further strengthens the Board’s skills and experiences, providing valuable perspective and insight as we execute on Badger’s strategic growth initiatives. We look forward to Bill’s contribution and are pleased he has chosen to join Badger’s Board.”

Mr. Derwin was most recently the Chief Executive Officer of International Car Wash Group (“ICWG”), headquartered in the United Kingdom. ICWG is the world’s largest car wash company with operations in fourteen countries. Prior to ICWG, Mr. Derwin was the President of Terminix International, after serving in senior executive roles in the U.S. and internationally with Otis Elevator. Mr. Derwin was earlier an engagement manager with McKinsey & Company, after beginning his career at The Boeing Company. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University and a Masters of Business Administration from Harvard University and resides in Denver, Colorado.

Retirement of Gerald Schiefelbein, Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer
Jerry Schiefelbein, Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer, has elected to retire from Badger. Jerry joined Badger in 2014 and since that time has implemented a number of initiatives to strengthen Badger’s internal and external financial reporting, improve investor communications and build out the finance organization to support ongoing business growth. To assist in a successful transition, Jerry will continue in his current role while a search for a new Chief Financial Officer is undertaken. “Badger has benefitted from Jerry’s efforts over the past five years, during which the finance organization successfully supported the Company’s strong growth,” said Paul Vanderberg, President and Chief Executive Officer. “Jerry has built a talented team which continues to improve Badger’s systems and procedures as part of the common business platform initiative. We appreciate his leadership and contributions to Badger.”

Operations Organization Realignment
In order to facilitate Badger’s common business platform project and manage Badger’s growing operation footprint, Badger has realigned its operations organization as detailed below.

Wade Wilson has been appointed Vice President, Business Process Improvement. Wade is now responsible for the leadership of Badger’s common business platform project and was previously Badger’s Vice President of Canadian Operations. As a result of Wade assuming responsibility for the common business platform project, Badger has realigned its operations management on a North American basis.

Elizabeth Peterson has been appointed Vice President, North American Operations – East. The Eastern Operating Center includes the territory from the U.S. Southeast through Eastern Canada.

Mike Tunney has been appointed Vice President, North American Operations – Central. The Central Operating Center includes the territory from the Texas Gulf Coast through Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba.

Kevin Carnahan has been appointed Vice President, North American Operations – West. The Western Operating Center includes the territory from Arizona through British Columbia.

Elizabeth, Mike and Kevin will continue to report to John Kelly, Chief Operating Officer.
