Black Lion Capital Corp. (TSX VENTURE:BLC.P) (“Black Lion” or the “Company“), a capital pool company, is pleased to announce that it has closed its previously announced non-brokered private placement (the “Private Placement“) issuing a total of 2,810,000 shares at a price of $0.10 for gross proceeds of $281,000.
Net proceeds from the Private Placement will be used for the identification and evaluation of a Qualifying Transaction.
In connection with the Private Placement, the Company paid cash finder’s fees to various arm’s length finders in the aggregate amount of $15,060.
All of the shares issued in the Private Placement are subject to a four month hold period expiring September 13, 2016.
About the Company
The Company has not commenced commercial operations and has no assets other than cash. The only business of the Company is the identification and evaluation of assets or businesses with a view to completing a “Qualifying Transaction” in accordance with Exchange Policy 2.4 – Capital Pool Companies.
