OTTAWA, ONTARIO–(Marketwired – May 16, 2016) – Calian Group Ltd. (TSX:CGY) is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a Regional Individual Standing Offer (RISO) by the Department of National Defence (DND) to provide the Royal Military College of Canada (RMCC) with research assistance services.
This new agreement effective May 16, 2016 allows Calian to extend its relationship with RMCC which began in 1997. This new agreement represents Calian’s 4th consecutive RISO with RMCC for research assistance and will cover the five-year period from May 16, 2016 to March 31, 2021. Based on historical trends, the contract has a potential value of approximately $7 million per year.
Under this Standing Offer, Calian will continue to provide research assistance to University Professors at RMCC who carry out Research and Development in the broad disciplines of engineering, science, social science and humanities.
