Canadian Bank Note purchases Unicom Graphics

CALGARY, July 21, 2015 /CNW/ – Canadian Bank Note (CBN) announced today that it has acquired Unicom Graphics and will integrate Unicom’s operations with CBN’s McAra Printing division to deliver exceptional print solutions for their customers. CBN has made substantial investments in new technology at McAra over the past several years and the acquisition of Unicom is a continuation of its investment in its Calgary operation.

With this acquisition, McAra Unicom will offer high-quality lithographic print including UV technology, digital print and wide format services, complete bindery including perfect binding, foiling and embossing, direct mail and fulfillment. These capabilities combined with technical consultation and security services will provide customers with a unique offering.
