TORONTO, ONTARIO–(Marketwired – Sept. 8, 2016) – Brookfield Investment Management Inc. today announced that Leonardo Anguiano will assume portfolio management responsibilities for the Brookfield Global Infrastructure Securities Income Fund (TSX:BGI.UN) (the “Fund”) alongside Co-Portfolio Manager Craig Noble, who has been a portfolio manager since the launch of the Fund and has led the firm’s infrastructure securities investing platform since its inception. Sam Arnold, the current Co-Portfolio Manager on the Fund, is leaving the firm effective September 14, 2016.
Mr. Anguiano joined Brookfield over a year ago to take on a leadership role within the listed infrastructure team. He has been a senior analyst covering several infrastructure sectors globally, with a focus on European infrastructure companies. In his expanded role, Leonardo brings to the team nearly 20 years of infrastructure experience, including direct infrastructure investments, sell-side research, capital raising and IPO processes, and public securities investing.
