Claren Energy Announces Non-Brokered Private Placement

TORONTO, July 22, 2020 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Claren Energy Corp. (“Claren” or the “Company”) (TSX-V: CEN) is pleased to announce a non-brokered private placement of up to 24,000,000 common shares of the Company (the “Shares”) at a price of CAD $0.05 per share for gross proceeds of up to CAD $1,200,000 (the “Private Placement”).
All securities issued in connection with the Private Placement will be subject to a four-month hold period from the closing date under applicable Canadian securities laws, in addition to such other restrictions as may apply under applicable securities laws of jurisdictions outside Canada. Claren intends to use the proceeds from the Private Placement for general working capital purposes and to repay corporate indebtedness.
