TORONTO, Jan. 15, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — The release issued earlier today by Western Troy Capital Resources (TSX Venture: WRY) was distributed with an incorrect headline. The corrected release follows:
Western Troy Announces Share Consolidation
Western Troy Capital Resources (TSX Venture: WRY) (“Western Troy”) is pleased to announce that it has filed articles of amendment (“Articles”) to consolidate its common shares (the “Common Shares”) on a five (5) for one (1) basis (the “Consolidation”). A majority of the shareholders of Western Troy approved the share consolidation at the annual and special meeting of Western Troy held on May 3, 2017.
The Consolidation will reduce the number of outstanding Common Shares from 40,914,970 to 8,182,994. No fractional Common Shares will be issued pursuant to the Consolidation and any fractional shares that would have otherwise been issued have been rounded down to the nearest whole number. The change in the number of issued and outstanding Common Shares that result from the Consolidation will not materially affect any shareholder’s percentage ownership in Western Troy, although such ownership would be represented by a smaller number of Common Shares.
The effective date of the Consolidation is expected to be on or about January 18, 2019.
