David Sidoo, Director and proposed President of Advantage Lithium, commented, “We are delighted that Mr. Leishman has agreed to join us, as Chairman of the Advisory Board, at such an exciting time for the Company. The recent announcement of our agreement to acquire interest in five prospective lithium projects is just the start of our goal to become a significant, international player in the sector. Mr. Leishman will be working closely with our technical advisor – the award-winning geologist, Ross McElroy, who has previously agreed to join the advisory board. Together, their experience will prove invaluable as we move forward with identifying, assessing and acquiring further opportunities in the Lithium space.”

Thompson Creek subsequently built a $1.6 billion mine which is now operating successfully as one of Canada’s biggest mines in northern British Columbia.

Mr. Leishman has been a registered member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia since 1994 and a fellow of the Geological Association of Canada since 1985.
