Eco Oro Announces Results of Shareholder Meeting

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA–(Marketwired – Nov. 3, 2016) – Eco Oro Minerals Corp. (“Eco Oro” or the “Company”) (TSX:EOM) announces that at its special meeting of shareholders held today, shareholder approval was not obtained for the issuance of common shares pursuant to the second tranche of the private placement to be completed by the Company pursuant to the investment agreement (the “Agreement“) between the Company and Trexs Investments, LLC. As a result, the Company will issue contingent value rights instead of common shares as required by the Agreement, along with convertible notes, for gross proceeds of approximately US$15 million.
