BURLINGTON, Mass., Nov. 16, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Flexion Therapeutics, Inc. (Nasdaq:FLXN) today announced that it has been named one of the Top Places to Work in Massachusetts for the second consecutive year. The rankings are based on the results from an annual employee survey conducted by The Boston Globe.
“These types of awards are particularly meaningful as they are a direct reflection of the way our people feel about working at Flexion,” said Michael Clayman, M.D., President and Chief Executive Officer. “The competition for talent in the Boston area is intense, and we believe that the unique culture we foster provides us with a true competitive advantage. Great people want to work with great people, and we have been able to attract and retain the very best in the industry. In turn, they enable us to make important advances in patient care and provide real value to our shareholders.”
Top Places to Work recognizes the most admired workplaces in the state as voted by employees. Flexion ranked 19 out of 40 in the medium category, which includes organizations that have 100 to 249 Massachusetts based employees, and was the only biopharmaceutical company listed in that category. The survey polled 82,151 employees at 318 Massachusetts organizations and measured opinions about their company’s direction, execution, connection, management, work, pay and benefits, and engagement.
The Top Places to Work 2018 will be published in The Boston Globe Magazine on November 18, and the results can also be found online at bostonglobe.com/section/top-places-to-work-2018.
