RED DEER, ALBERTA–(Marketwired – May 4, 2016) – Gamehost Inc. (‘Gamehost’, the ‘Company’) (TSX:GH)
At 2 pm on May 3rd, Boomtown was closed for mandatory evacuation. It appears our staff have been relocated and are safe to the best of our knowledge and communications received. Our casino is currently untouched, but today fires continue in the waterways area, about 20 blocks to the south, and a change of wind could devastate the downtown core. The casino will be closed until further notice. It is known that several employees living in Abasand, Beacon Hill, and Waterways have lost their homes. It is unknown when residents will be able to return to assess their losses and what the next steps are to securing permanent shelter. The fire is still moving NNE and the areas of Thickwood and Timberlea are at high risk with high winds forecasted today.
