Global Resource Champions Split Corp. Announces 2016 Annual Results

TORONTO, ONTARIO–(Marketwired – March 30, 2017) – Global Resource Champions Split Corp. (“Global Champions” or the “Company”) (TSX:GRP.PR.A) announced today that its net assets per unit, as determined for financial reporting purposes, was $48.00 at December 31, 2016.

Portfolio securities and net assets totaled $86 million and $54 million, respectively, as at December 31, 2016. The Company commenced operations on May 6, 2016, upon completion of an initial public offering of 1,800,000 Class A Preferred Shares, Series 1 (the “preferred shares”) at C$25.00 per Share (the “offering”), for gross proceeds of C$45 million. Concurrent with the Offering, the Company issued 1,800,000 capital shares to Partners Value Fund Investments Inc. for C$55 million. The net asset value per unit, as determined for retraction purposes, is posted daily on our website at www.globalchampions.com.
