VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA–(Marketwired – June 1, 2017) – Gold Standard Ventures Corp. (TSX VENTURE:GSV)(NYSE MKT:GSV) (“Gold Standard” or the “Company”) announced today that it has appointed Glenn Kumoi as Vice President General Counsel and Corporate Secretary.
Jonathan Awde, Gold Standard’s President and CEO noted that “Glenn strengthens our management team’s legal and administrative expertise at a time when the Company is advancing its plans to begin defining the economics of its flagship Pinion-Railroad Gold Project in the Carlin Trend of Nevada. He is an executive leader who has extensive experience in the areas of financing, project development, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance and legal compliance as an officer of three other public companies prior to his appointment to Gold Standard. The Company also announced today that pursuant to its stock option incentive plan, the Company granted Mr. Kumoi incentive stock options to purchase 325,000 common shares of the company at yesterday’s closing price for a period of 5 years.
The stock options are subject to the terms of the Company’s stock option plan and regulatory approval.
