SUGAR LAND, TX–(Marketwired – May 6, 2016) – Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas) — Industrial Info’s Japan team has plenty to make them proud. In addition to a stellar 2015, in which they added significantly to their project database and reached out to many new clients, they now can kick back in new digs: The staff moved to a new office in March.
They also have more company, with two new researchers keeping tabs on the Oil & Gas Industry. Its 18 employees also focus on the Power, Petroleum Refining, Chemical Processing, and Metals & Minerals industries.
The new office, which is located in the tallest building in Kofu, the capital city of Yamanashi Prefecture, improves on its predecessor with two dedicated meeting rooms, a staff break room and CISCO technology.
“We started with a very small team, in a very basic office,” said Gordon Murray, managing director for Industrial Info’s Japan office. “Every year, we see steady growth in terms of the research team, research capacity, and sales performance. It excites me that we have moved into a bigger facility that can accommodate further future growth.”
The 4,500-square-foot office is just across the road from Maizuru Park, a beautiful historical site that features the 400-year-old Kofu Castle. The office is only two minutes’ walk from a major train station.
All this comes on the heels of solid results for 2015. The Kofu staff tracked 4,000 research projects, adding roughly 300 per month, without a single one “falling out.” They also exhibited at PowerGen Asia, where they obtained 700 leads, and at GasTech and InChem Tokyo.
