AutoZone is the leading retailer and distributor of automotive replacement parts and accessories in the U.S. It wanted to roll out a flexible analytics environment to thousands of stores without burdening field workers with custom software or complex reporting procedures. With the help of Information Builders, the company worked with existing computers, databases, and information systems to create a self-service reporting and analytics system that casual users could quickly adopt. Now AutoZone’s web-based analytics environment delivers accurate information throughout the enterprise and helps to automate key business processes, from store operations to customer satisfaction reporting.

The City of Irving, Texas, the 13th largest city in the state, wanted to make it easier for city officials and department staff to monitor the city’s performance and trends. With Information Builders’ Performance Management Framework, the City used performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement, incorporating process improvement methodologies and innovative approaches that resulted in more than $44 million in cost savings, more than 50,000 hours of increased productivity, and $25 million in increased revenues. The City continues to focus on performance measures to determine areas of strategic focus and resource allocation. Irving is one of just two municipalities to have received the Malcolm Baldrige Award, the highest presidential honor given to organizations that exhibit performance excellence.

Pershing, a BNY Mellon company, provides global financial business solutions to advisors, asset managers, broker-dealers, family offices, registered investment advisor firms and wealth managers. With WebFOCUS, Pershing delivers targeted analytical information to more than 100,000 financial professionals without requiring them to learn complex technology.
