TULSA, OK, and VANCOUVER, BC–(Marketwired – August 02, 2017) – Jericho Oil Corporation (“Jericho”) (TSX VENTURE: JCO) (OTC PINK: JROOF) announces that it plans to raise $5,660,377 through a non-brokered private placement (the “Offering”) of 12,578,616 units (“Units”) at a price of C$0.45 per Unit. Each Unit is comprised of one common share (a “Share”) and one-half warrant (a “Warrant”) with each full Warrant being exercisable into one additional Share at a price of $0.60 per Share for a period of 36 months from closing.
Proceeds from the Offering will be used to acquire an additional 25% working interest (“WI”) in a producing oil and gas asset package in Oklahoma from its Private Family Partner and for working capital. As announced in the Company’s news release dated January 5th, 2016, Jericho acquired a 25% WI in this asset package at year-end 2015 with the intent to purchase this additional 25% WI.
No finders’ fees or commissions are being paid in connection with the Offering. Closing of the Offering is subject to final TSX Venture Exchange approval. All securities issued pursuant to the Offering are subject to a four month and one day hold period from the date of issuance.
