La-Z-Boy Names New General Counsel

MONROE, Mich., Jan. 08, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — La-Z-Boy Incorporated (NYSE: LZB) today announced the appointment of Stephen Krull as Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary, succeeding Rand Tucker who is retiring after 19 years with the company. In the role, Krull will report to Kurt L. Darrow, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer.  He will be responsible for managing all legal matters for the company, including corporate securities, compliance, litigation, intellectual property and patents, environmental, M&A, and contracts.  Additionally, he will work closely with the Board of Directors on corporate governance and other matters and will be part of the company’s Leadership Team.

Krull has had a distinguished career, serving as EVP and General Counsel of Miller Diversified, Inc., EVP, General Counsel, Secretary and Chief Compliance Officer of Con-Way Inc., and SVP, General Counsel and Secretary of Owens Corning.  In those roles, he was responsible for a multitude of legal issues, some global in scope, including M&A, restructuring, compliance, intellectual property, litigation, labor relations, government and public affairs, and security.
