ROSELAND, NJ–(Marketwired – Jul 11, 2016) – The U.S. Department of Labor’s (DOL) recent changes to the overtime pay rules have businesses nationwide strategizing about how to comply before the rules take effect on December 1, 2016. The changes increase the minimum salary requirement to be considered exempt from overtime to $47,476 annually, making about 4.2 million additional workers eligible for overtime.
