On the same date, shareholders of Foamix Pharmaceuticals Ltd. also approved all shareholder proposals necessary to complete the merger. Pending the expiration of a 30-day waiting period required by Israeli law and satisfaction of closing conditions set forth in the merger agreement, the merger is expected to close on or about March 9, 2020. The combined biopharmaceutical company will be focused on the commercialization and development of therapeutics to serve patients in the dermatology space. AMZEEQTM is the first approved topical formulation of minocycline to be approved by the FDA for any condition.
