Meritage Homes Gives $3.3 Million In 2023 To Build Stronger Communities Nationwide

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., Dec. 19, 2023 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Meritage Homes, the fifth-largest public homebuilder in the U.S., delivered on its brand promise of a Life.Built.Better.® in 2023 by contributing $3.3 million and through volunteerism. During the year, the homebuilder donated $1.5 million mainly through Meritage Cares, its philanthropic foundation, as well as additional in-kind donations to help combat food insecurity, support diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I) initiatives in the homebuilding industry, plant trees throughout its markets, assist military veterans and their families, and improve affordable housing supply. Meritage also celebrated its ten-year partnership with Operation Homefront this year and will donate another mortgage-free home in South Florida to a deserving military veteran. Further, Meritage contributed $1.8 million to fund educational opportunities in Arizona and Florida.
