Monro Inc. collects food and funds to provide 58,000 meals to families in its hometown, teaming up with Foodlink

ROCHESTER, N.Y., Nov. 27, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Monro Inc. teamed up with Foodlink to give back to its hometown this holiday season, with employees and customers collectively raising food and funds to provide more than 58,000 meals to local families — doubling the company’s original goal of 25,000 meals.
Monro Inc. (Nasdaq: MNRO) was founded in Rochester in 1957 and today spans 32 states and close to 1,300 stores nationwide.Food donation boxes were stationed for two weeks at 31 locations of Monro Auto Service & Tire Centers and Mr. Tire Auto Service Centers.
