MONACO, Oct. 18, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Navios Maritime Acquisition Corporation (“Navios Acquisition”) (NYSE: NNA), an owner and operator of tanker vessels, announced today that it has priced an offering of 1,875,000 shares of common stock for an aggregate of approximately $15.0 million in a registered direct offering at $8.00 per share. The offering is expected to close on or about October 24, 2019. Navios Acquisition estimates that the net proceeds from the offering, after deducting estimated offering expenses and placement agent fees, will be approximately $14.0 million. Navios Acquisition expects to use the net proceeds from the registered direct offering for general corporate purposes.
