The screening study (BE-1) will enroll gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) patients without a prior diagnosis of Barrett’s Esophagus (BE) or esophageal adenocarcinoma (EAC) who satisfy American College of Gastroenterology (ACG) BE screening guidelines. The case control study (BE-2) will enroll patients with a previous diagnosis of non-dysplastic BE, dysplastic BE (both low and high-grade) or EAC.
