PHX Energy Services Corp. (“PHX Energy” or the “Corporation“) (TSX:PHX) is pleased to announce the closing of its bought deal public offering of 8,625,000 common shares of the Corporation at a price of $2.70 per share, which includes 1,125,000 common shares issued pursuant to the exercise in full of the over-allotment option, for gross proceeds of approximately $23.3 million. Concurrent with the closing of the public offering, certain directors, officers, employees and consultants of PHX purchased a total of 495,407 common shares at the offering price of $2.70 per share on a private placement basis. The gross proceeds from the public offering and concurrent private placement totalled approximately $24.6 million.
The syndicate of underwriters was led by Peters & Co. Limited and included Scotia Capital Inc., HSBC Securities (Canada) Inc. and AltaCorp Capital Inc.
