VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA–(Marketwired – June 13, 2017) – Pretium Resources Inc. (TSX:PVG)(NYSE:PVG) (“Pretivm” or the “Company”) announces that the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York has dismissed the consolidated putative securities class action lawsuit brought against the Company and certain of its officers and directors in January 2014, In re Pretium Resources Inc. Securities Litigation, Case No. 13-CV-7552.
The Court ruled in favor of the Company and certain of its officers and directors on all claims and ordered the case closed. The Company is not aware of whether the plaintiffs will appeal the dismissal of the claims or will file any post-dismissal motions.
