Company Will Sponsor “Game of Honor” Tribute-To-Heroes

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., Jan. 30, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — The Alkaline Water Company Inc. (NASDAQ and TSXV: WTER), a leading producer of premium bottled alkaline drinking water sold under the brand name Alkaline88®, is proud to announce its support of the country’s wounded warriors through the Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP).

The Company has agreed to sponsor the upcoming Wounded Warrior Amputee Football Team Super Bowl 53 “Game of Honor.” The Game of Honor is a charity flag-football game between the Wounded Warriors Amputee Football Team (WWAFT) and alumni of the NFL. The mission of the Wounded Warrior Amputee Football Team is “to raise awareness and support for our wounded warriors and their families.”

The team is comprised of veterans who use prosthetic devices. This year’s game represents the 8th sequential Super Bowl hosting this special event. NFL alumni participating in the game will include Dan Reeves, Ron Jaworski, Michael Irvin, Rock Bleier and many others.
