Urban Communications Inc. Announces Result of Supreme Court of Canada Appeal

VANCOUVER, BC–(Marketwired – November 04, 2016) – Urban Communications Inc. (TSX VENTURE: UBN) announces that its appeal to the Supreme Court of Canada of a decision of the B.C. Court of Appeal in relation to the renewal of a lease of fibre optic strands has been dismissed. The result is that it has been ruled that the customer has effectively exercised its option to renew the lease, and the Company will receive no further compensation in respect of that renewal.
