Woodrose Corporation (NEX:WRS.H) (“Woodrose” or the “Company“) announces that effective today, the Company has continued into British Columbia from the jurisdiction of Alberta (the “Continuance”). The Continuance was approved by shareholders at the Company’s annual general and special meeting held on October 17, 2016 (the “Meeting”). At the Meeting, shareholders approved the adoption of new Business Corporations Act (British Columbia) Articles (the “BCBCA Articles”) which include advance notice provisions. Full details of the Company’s BCBCA Articles can be found in the Meeting Information Circular that was mailed to shareholders and filed on Sedar.
As a result of the Continuation, effective November 7, 2016 the Company will change its name to “Woodrose Ventures Corporation” and continue trading on the TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol “WRS”.
